PT Pesonna Optima Jasa Distributes Thousands of Food Packages Across Indonesia

Throughout April 2022, PT Pesonna Optima Jasa (POJ) carried out a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives under the theme “POJ Peduli - Ramadhan Berbagi” by distributing thousands of basic food packages across various cities in Indonesia.

Held during Ramadan 1443 Hijri, the program aimed to demonstrate the company’s commitment to supporting economically disadvantaged communities living around PT POJ offices. The distributed food packages contained rice, sugar, instant noodles, and various other essential food items, along with cash assistance.

The assistance was distributed through POJ representative offices in 11 cities across Indonesia, including Medan, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Makassar, and Manado.

During the CSR program held at PT POJ’s Head Office in Jakarta, the event was attended by the Director and members of the General Manager team. Mr. Yul Afian, Director of PT POJ, personally welcomed local residents and distributed food packages alongside PT POJ employees. In other cities, in addition to distributing food packages, several POJ representative offices also distributed takjil to motorists passing through areas surrounding the offices.

Employees across PT POJ were actively involved throughout the implementation of the program. The activities were conducted smoothly and in an orderly manner while complying with the applicable health protocols. Recipients had been identified in advance through local neighborhood administrators and places of worship, while their arrival times were scheduled according to the coupon numbers they had received.

Through this initiative, PT Pesonna Optima Jasa hopes to continue creating meaningful benefits for surrounding communities and the environment.
